THE CUT FASHION DESIGN ACADEMY RECOGNIZES TALENT AND REWARDS DEDICATED STUDENTS WITH PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS OF UP TO CAD$5,000! Here is how you know you are ready to start your creative journey: you live for coming up with ideas, visions come easy to you, you don’t settle for just good, you exceed. At TCFDA, you will find yourself surrounded by instructors and classmates that share your creative vision. This will be one of the toughest but most rewarding experiences of your life. If you are up for it, you could be on your way towards where you do what you love! This scholarship can help you accomplish this! ELIGIBILITY: • Scholarship is open to student applicants that are 17 years or older at the time of application that fulfill all admission requirements into the program and have been accepted to study at TCFDA. • Scholarship is open to applicants applicants to our full time programs from anywhere in the World. APPLICATION PROCESS: The application process is simple, and is broken into two very important parts: • Part 1 – Application to enroll at TCFDA. Make sure you full and submit all of the program’s admissions requirements. • Part 2 – Scholarship Application. Fill out the scholarship application form, and submit together with: Scholarship Essay 500 word minimum, explaining: Knowledge of the program that the candidate is interested in, desire to work in the industry, need for funding support. Portfolio (4 pieces minimum: 2 garments, and to 2 art projects) designed and assembled with a detailed mood board. Deadline: Scholarship applications should be received no later than 30 days before the intended start date for Full Time Certificate and Diploma programs. Applications submitted less than 30 days before the program start date will not be considered.

Upon successful submission of application, an Admissions Advisor will contact you to connect personally and provide you with an introduction of the school and life in Vancouver. Note: No official scholarship application will be considered or reviewed unless both parts are successfully completed by the applicant.

Deadlines

Awards are granted on first-come, first-serve basis. To be considered for an award, the applicant must submit the application no later than 60 days before the program start date.

Conditions

Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress. Awards will be suspended if the student’s cumulative grade point average falls below 70% pass on assignments.

Other Conditions

Awards granted TCFDA may be used only at TCFDA. Scholarships are awarded in the form of tuition credit, applied evenly over the length of the student’s program. In the event studies are terminated by TCFDA or by the student, the award will become null and void. The award is not redeemable for cash or program supplies.
Once awarded, scholarship recipients are not eligible to re-apply for revised award prior to their start date or during their study period.
In no instance will a scholarship be awarded in excess of direct education cost. Amount awarded will be used for tuition only.
